"In EGM, I've created a subgenre of the GQOM genre that resembles the original sound but differs in specific ways. This new era showcases my creativity, incorporating different forms of House music with African sounds.

As a contemporary artist, it's crucial to have a unique signature or sound that accurately represents your true self, and EGM is that for me.

I find GQOM to be one of the most powerful and spiritual genres ever created, and it's gaining popularity as the years go by. I've also noticed that other genres are slowly entering the GQOM style, creating 'broken beats' that are a testament to its power and influence.

Late jazz/African A-frolic artist, Fela Kuti, emphasized the spiritual significance of music and the importance of using it well to live a life of purpose. When he said “Music is a spiritual thing. You don’t play with music. If you play with music, you’ll die young. When the higher forces give you a gift of music, musicianship it must be well used…”
