ROOO is the augmented projection of a London-based artist experimenting with dark electronic and pop archetypes: through intimate vocals, non-conventional songwriting and meticulous sound-design, ROOO channels social anxiety, sexuality, and over-dramatized obsessions.

"How could I be so lost in a place I know so well?
This I wonder, every day.
ROOO helps me protect, validate and affirm my existence.
I overextend through ROOO to fit a narrative dominated by augmented projections of fragmented selves; uncommonly, mine magnifies my anxieties instead of my virtues, shining a light on things that should remain unseen.

“I write to you so many words” - but never enough.
These songs feel as socially awkward as the person who wrote them.
It was all I could give from the cold abyss of my bedroom.
Two of my dearest humans helped me give them sound.
A team of female and non-binary creatives shaped their visual form.

This isolation baby was birthed as an exorcism of my ghosts; I’ve been off, disordered and ill for some time.

My moods and modes oscillate; I see myself big and then small; I dive deep in contactless limerence.
When the swing is up, everything is perfectly balanced for a second.
Only for it to go back down, over and over. Oh, not again…

And still, I wouldn’t trade that one second for anything.

I hope you loners too find solace in loneliness."
